Maharashtra leads in pomegranate production in the country (77,000 Hectare with 4.76 lakh MT production) and contributes 85 per cent of total produce of India . The area in Maharashtra is spread to Solapur, Nashik, Sangli, Satara, Ahemadnagar, Pune and Dhule districts.

We are members of “The Maharashtra Pomegranate Growers Research Association” Pune which is a co-operative apex  organization of Maharashtra State Pomegranate Growers, established for giving technology, knowledge for growing quality fruits & information about domestic and overseas markets to growers members of societies who have the basic infrastructure of storage, transport, cold storage and other facilities.

Maharashtra State has taken a lead in setting up Agri Export Zone (AEZ) for Pomegranates covering the Districts of Nashik, Pune, Sangli, Solapur, Osmanabad, Latur and Ahmednagar. We are located admist the regions and can effectively utilize the benefit of cost, quality and delivery.
